Kimberley Waara’s son Ethan was diagnosed in utero with a severe, life limiting heart defect. After his birth Kimberley, her husband and baby Ethan moved directly into Roger Neilson house, a pediatric palliative care facility in Ottawa. They spent a beautiful week with their son before he died at seven days of age. Ethan now has a little sister, Zoe, who knows all about her big brother.
